VAAZHGA VALAMUDAN

It's been a tragic week for our Nation, first the Agni IV failure, yesterday it was Insat 4-A failure and today (Tuesday) a more tragic day, blasts at Srinagar and Mumbai. It is really a very horrible incident and I really dont have any words to describe this

Please please Pray for the peace for those unfortunate who have either lost their life or their near and dear in these incidents, and for our country too... our nation REALLY need our prayers at this moment

1. For the Safety of our Nation and our brethren - Free from such cowardeous Terrorist attacks, Safe from Fatal accidents, Safe from natural disasters - VAAZHGA VALAMUDAN

2. Police, Armed forces and Medical personnel need mental power and strength at this juncture to aid in their valuable services to our nation. They should be blessed to save more people - For them - VAAZHGA VALAMUDAN

3. For the safety of our Appa, Amma, Anna, Akka, Thambi and Thangai, near and dear - Safe and healthy - VAAZHGA VALAMUDAN

4. Our future space missions and nuclear missions should be a grand success and failure such as the ones we had earlier this week should not recur - VAAZHGA VALAMUDAN

Raksha bandhan – the cultural festival that glorifies sibling relationship and symbolizes the cultural harmony of our nation. It is my personal favorite, more than the imported days ala Friendship day, Valentine’s Day that we are now lapping up. Ironic, it should be, considering the fact that, being born on Valentine's Day I like the Raksha bandhan day more :D. Anyway I wanted to pen down (or rather type down??) my views on it in a beautiful, poetic way... I worked on it, but somehow my mind got stuck and what came out of it were only some clichéd lines, very much unlike of the feelings I wanted to express.. I gave up then, pacifying myself that it is not always necessary to decorate our feelings with beautiful words. If your feelings are genuine enough, we need not mind about our diction or grammar, we need not even make it good enough to appeal to people around... We don’t need to, really !... :) Every Guy might have his own perceptions about what is that, that makes him manly.....

Part - I Part - II (posted on 27/09/2005) Part - III (posted on 29/09/2005) PART - I Vijay - our hero is a programmer in a very small local Software company in Chennai. Even though he is in a small software company and his educational qualification is not much., , he is a very popular figure there. Daily, only after vijay comes and switches on the UPS the office starts functioning (no..no..no... vijay is not a watchman in that company.....it is just sentiment... if he starts UPS, that day the software runs without bug thatz all ) Being a mass hero, there should be an Intro song for Vijay. Saraswati puja. Whole office waits for our hero to come and start the UPS to start working on a new project. Our hero enters with a bang and with a song too "which platform u work, which platform i work, platforms doesnt matter, Which language u code, which language i code, languages doesnt matter, Are we from same College ? [chorus] No, No, No Are we using same OS [chorus] No, No, No You are ...

CAN I.... ? It was 9'0 in the night. Dark clouds covered the moon giving an appearance of a Vanilla flavored icecream filled with chocolate sauce. There was a slight drizzle and the weather was chill. The M5 route bus was travelling along the ups and downs of Old Mahabalipuram Road dearly called as OMR (it shud have been called OMG [ Oh My God !!]rather, given its current condition and the scare it gives to the motorists). Rahul and Atul, both employees of a MNC Software company in the OMR, (In Chennai, most of the Software companies...
